Graduate Seminar with Maxi Spina
Group project with Niharika Hablini + Talene Montgomery
Software: Maya, Rhino, ACAD, Maxwell Render, Illustrator, Photoshop
Materials: corrugated cardboard + coroplast
Method: hand sketch + digital sketch, manual cut + laser cut
This seminar explored the potential of digital technologies (i.e. CAD/CAM) in form generation. The simple form of a plane was further complicated in iterations by slight modification steps of pushing and pulling. The final object was then scaled relative to human height and program, resulting in a habitable wall. For final presentation, a full-scale piece was fabricated.
